Optional Workshop: We are offering a Rain Barrel Workshop in the afternoon for an additional fee.

Rain Barrel Workshop 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Want free water for the garden?
Don will demonstrate how to transform an ordinary plastic drum into a rain barrel to capture your roof’s rain water runoff. This is a Hands-On demonstration and participants will go home with everything needed to make either a 35 or 55 gallon rain barrel. Limit: 30 people

Don Kennedy, Founder of the Crum Creek Sustainable Community and the Swarthmore Transition Initiative . Join Don on his journey to create an edible landscape that produces as much food as possible to meet the family needs with as little effort as possible.

Alyce Zellers & Julia King, PSU Master Gardeners -Delaware County
Come and learn how to reuse and recycle by creating unique art for your garden. Alyce and Julia will give you ideas for using existing items around your house and re-purposing them into the garden.

DISPLAY GARDENS

Take a self-guided tour of our lovely sun, shade, native and pollinator gardens designed and maintained by Master Gardeners.

ON SITE ORCHID SPECIALIST

Gail Sklar, DelCo MG, America Orchid Society Award winner, and owner of Orchid Help Is Here will answer your orchid growing questions.

Plant Sale
Our spectacular fall plant sale featuring choice plants from our own gardens at amazingly low prices.

Frugal Gardener Sale
Gently used garden tools and accessories at bargain prices.

Bake Sale
Delicious treats made exclusively by Master Gardeners.

Fall Fest is a rain or shine event. If a major storm is forecast, please call 610-690-2655 for a message regarding event cancellation.

Directions:
From Route I-476 North (Blue Route): take exit # 3 (Media/Swarthmore). Turn right on Baltimore Pike. Make the first left onto Paper Mill Road. Follow signs to Fall Fest parking.

From Route I-476 South: take exit # 3 (Media/Swarthmore). Turn left on Baltimore Pike. Make the first left onto Paper Mill Road. Follow signs to Fall Fest parking.

From Springfield: Go South on Baltimore Pike (towards Media). Paper Mill Road is the second right after the Springfield Mall. Follow signs to Fall Fest parking.

Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is available adjacent to Fall Fest.

Public Transportation
The Media/Sharon Hill trolley stops at Paper Mill Road.
